Ms. Pallavi Mehta is a distinguished Sitar maestro whose lifelong devotion to Indian classical music reflects in every note she plays. Her passion for the sitar is not only artistic but deeply spiritual, inspiring students to connect with the true essence of the instrument.

Beginning her teaching journey over 36 years ago in Mumbai, India, she started with just one student. Through dedication and excellence, her student community steadily expanded, eventually leading her to establish her own Academy of Music. There, she devoted herself to teaching Classical Indian Music, Sitar, Indian vocal music, Harmonium, and Keyboard, nurturing generations of aspiring musicians.

Her vision has always been to share the richness and depth of Classical Indian Music with wider audiences. After moving to the United States, that dream continues to flourish as she brings her experience and authenticity to a new cultural landscape.

Now associated with Better World Music School, Ms. Pallavi has found the perfect environment to continue her mission. With her expertise, warmth, and years of experience, she resumes her musical journey with renewed purpose, enriching students with traditional knowledge and refined artistry.
