### Celularity Names Viome CEO Naveen Jain to Its Board of Directors
Celularity Inc., a regenerative medicine company based in Florham Park, New Jersey, has appointed Naveen Jain, founder and chief executive officer of Viome Life Sciences Inc., to its Board of Directors.
The appointment brings an entrepreneur with a consumer-focused approach to Celularity as the company advances its work in regenerative medicine and therapies derived from postpartum placental tissue.
Jain has founded several companies focused on emerging technologies and large-scale challenges, including InfoSpace, Intelius, TalentWise and Moon Express. His current work at Viome combines artificial intelligence with molecular data to develop personalized approaches to health and nutrition.
Celularity Chairman and CEO Robert J. Hariri said Jain’s experience building technology-focused businesses could support the company as it seeks to expand the commercial potential of its regenerative medicine products.
Hariri also highlighted the shared interest in regenerative longevity, an area focused on addressing biological mechanisms associated with aging and age-related diseases.
Jain said he intends to contribute a combination of commercial strategy, partnerships and a consumer-oriented perspective as Celularity works to translate regenerative medicine research into practical applications.
His appointment comes as the healthcare industry continues to explore approaches that emphasize prevention, early intervention and personalized health alongside traditional treatment models.
Celularity has been developing therapies and technologies based on cells and biological materials derived from the postpartum placenta. The company has positioned regenerative medicine and longevity as key areas of its broader strategy.
Philip A. Barach, who also serves on Celularity’s board, said Jain’s addition comes during a period of strategic and financial changes at the company.
Barach pointed to the importance of combining greater financial discipline with efforts to develop commercial opportunities around the company’s existing assets.
Jain joins a reconstituted board that currently includes Hariri, Peter H. Diamandis and Barach. The board was reorganized as part of Celularity’s broader recapitalization and strategic repositioning.
Celularity said it expects to add a fifth director in the near future, further expanding the board as the company continues to implement its strategy.
Jain’s appointment will formally take effect after completion of the applicable Rule 14f-1 information statement process.
The addition of Jain also adds another technology and consumer-health perspective to Celularity’s leadership as the company seeks to connect regenerative medicine with emerging opportunities in personalized healthcare and longevity.
